Upcoming Students’ Recital

Since 2021, our student recital falls into the Artists Music Studio student concert. As tradition, we try our best to perform together with students to set an example for everyone of them.

This year end, the recital will be held on 8th December at Bechstein Music World at Singapore Conference Hall.
We are excited to announce that all of we are going to play on the Concert Grand Piano played by world class pianists: Martha Argerich, Yunchan Lim, Sir Steven Hough, Kit Armstrong, Haiou Zhang, etc. May all our students, teachers and audience enjoy the wonderful experience.

Regular reading is highly encouraged in Lyra’s pre-school🏫. So we regularly will go National Library Board (NLB) 🏢 to do treasure hunting. NLB has a rich collection for young readers. Here is one of our great hunts 📚for our little one to embark her reading journey about music composers.

“I am Mozart too” is a book about the lost genius — Maria Anna Mozart. She was Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s elder sister, who was also a prodigy but couldn’t pursue her dream as a musician just simply because she was born a girl.

It was an emotional reading session for our dear Lyra as she deeply moved by Maria Anna’s strong passion in music 🎵and also the helplessness in her musical life. She quietly rubbed off her tears while we were reading the book and discussing about Maria Anna’s life.

In the end, Lyra decided to dress up 👗as Maria Anna Mozart and present this book during her school’s Book Character Day. #lyramusicaljourney

Really thankful for all the loves from parents and students. We are so fortunate that our belief in music education is proven to be useful in many families and graduated students in the last 2 decades.

Music learning is a lifestyle. A character building. It is a life-long influenced journey. It couldn’t just use trophies and certificates to conclude. The value added to the individual’s life is way more than the materialistic rewards.

As we are human, living on planet earth, a world of capitalism and materialism, we need to make a living with one of our skills or talents. Lucky ones like us can combine work and passion together daily. Doesn’t mean music lovers are only can become musicians.

We are so proud of all our students. Those who became or becoming a musician, a doctor, a baker, a chef, a scientist, an army officer, a teacher, a lawyer, an animator, a business owner, and all kinds of occupations. They shine in their field with the character built through an enjoyable musical education.

Thanks again for all your loves. Your appreciations fuel our passions and continue to carry our mission in the local art scene.
